In-game name:Panzera
Class:Warrior
Talent spec (a link of some sort would be nice):9/5/47
Explain your talent spec, why you use, what it is good for etc:
3/3 Improved thunderclap because it allows you to tank multiple mobs easier and it shaves off a nice 10% of the attack rate, which is very nice mitigationwise.
5/5 Cruelty for additional aggro
2/2 Improved Shield Wall because its a lifesaver
Are you willing to modify/change your spec entirely?
As a protection warrior, I'm used to this build and I don't see where I can improve here, if I can be conviced to respec, then sure. Otherwise I don't mind raiding as Fury, although my gear isn't as good as fury.
What is your motivation to join Serial Chillers?
I want to pick up where I left off. I was in Omnia before, but they disbanded when I was on vacation. We killed up until Teron Gorefiend.
I have to add though, I'm originally from a PVP server, and I left it to join Insanity Of Fate. Because the guild was so slow paced and a lot of people left because you weren't alllowed to say much during raids Omnia was started.
I love to tank and raid, and I don't have any specific plans during summer anyway.
What former guilds have you been in? Why did you leave?
The guild I was in on Chromaggus was Novus Orsa, ironically they already killed Brutallus at this point, so I have a bit of remorse. But the reason I left them was because they raided 6 hours a day 6 days out of 7. I was basically raidleading all the time and they always expected me to show up. It was killing my social life so I was looking around for another guild. Insanity of Fate wasn't what I expected it to be so I left shortly before they killed Illidan(I was addtank). However I progressed with them from Teron to Illidan.

Have you read the Serial Chillers rules and agreed to them?
Yes
Here comes a few questions aimed specifically at applicants with the intentions of joining as tanks:
What is your average threat per second (TPS)?
It's hard to tell, because every boss is different, but Teron Gorefiend I can do around 1200-2000 TPS. Here's a video of me on Azgalor, showing off my tanking skills. As you can see I'm always above 1000 TPS.
What is your level of tanking experience in TBC and Pre-TBC instances?
Never tanked pretbc, I played warcraft3 fairly high on the ladder before BC. Maintanked everything until about Mother Sharazh.
Do you understand the meaning of a crushing blow, and how to avoid them? If yes, please explain.
Crushing blow is a 150% hit of a boss, not every boss does a crushing blow (Archimonde doesn't I believe). You can avoid a crushing blow by parrying or dodging, or hitting the shield block button aka blocking. Shield block should always be used whenever off cooldown to prevent this from happening. However there are bosses that hit faster then ur shield block cooldown such as Morogrim, the only way to minimize this as much as possible is using thunderclap, or using some more avoidance gear and trying to reach passive avoidance.
What is the most important tanking stat in your opinion? (no answer is wrong as long as you can motivate it well)
Stamina > Agility > Strength
Stamina because each point increases ur health pool and it gives healers more space and time to work with. Sure you can count on avoidance, but theres always an unlucky avoidance streak bound to happen, thats why I'd rather rely on stamina gems.
Agility because it adds crit, which is nice for threat and adds dodge and armor as well.
Strength because it increases your shield block value and increases your AP, aka more threat as well
Expertise > SBV > Hit
Expertise first because if a boss parries you he has a 60% increased attack speed on the next hit, you don't want that to happen on hard hitters like Archimonde
Shield Block Value because its an awesome stat on trash and I'm a big fan of Shield Slam crits

Hit because I hate missing?

How do you prepare for a raid? Food buffs and consumables etc, try to list them.
Spicy Crawdad/Clefthoof(for trash)
Major agility/major fortitude on threat intensive fights
Flask of fortication, mostly used.
I'm always stocked with ironshield pots and nightmare seeds
Tell us a little something about yourself.
I work as a system and network engineer, in my free time I like to go out and have a drink or 2(0). I like to joke around on ventrilo, play games .I guess the rest you'll have to find out if you want me as a trial.
