In-game name: MontanŠ
Class: Hunter
Talent spec (a link of some sort would be nice):
Explain your talent spec, why you use, what it is good for etc:

I realise that I will probably need to respect at some point, but this build is probably the ďnormĒ beast master build, it allows my pet to do sufficient damage, as well as the improved haste for myself increasing my DPS quite a bit. I have chosen points in Improved Revive Pet because pets normally do about 10% of a hunterís damage anyway, and if your pet for some reason dies mid fight this talent allows you to ress him up quickly and for a smaller amount of mana.
I have also decided to only put 4/5 points in Frenzy as I feel that 80% is more than enough of a chance to get this buff, and my pet is also more than likely going to crit again in them 8 seconds as well. I have also chosen Efficiency over the Improved Hunterís Mark as a 10% mana reduction on shots makes a lot of difference on longer fights.

Are you willing to modify/change your spec entirely?

Of course

What is your motivation to join Serial Chillers?

I am looking for a guild which is serious about progressing while also having a laugh while doing it.

What former guilds have you been in? Why did you leave?

Dragon Lords of Azeroth (old main)
Soul of the Fire (old main)
Pure (old main)
My old main used to be an Enhancement shaman, which I had full experience in Black Temple and Mount Hyjal. Montana has really only been guildless or in guilds in which I am just in to socialise with real life friends.

I left Pure because I was being for ever put on rotation, and the people who would get my place would be people who donít use consumables, have on respect for the rest of the raid, by turning up with gear un-enchanted, not gemmed. Also they were generally just not trying there hardest to make the guild succeed.

What is your age? 18
Where are you from? England
Do you smell really bad? Not really, no cheers
Do you have Ventrilo 3.0? Yep
Do you have a microphone? Yep

We raid four (4) days a week from 20.00 to 23.00 server time. What days are you able to come along (yes? no? maybe?)

Monday: Yes
Wednesday: Yes
Friday: Yes, (will have to get pissed saturday night xD )
Sunday: Yes

Have you read the Serial Chillers rules and agreed to them? Yep, was quite a read Smile

Here are a few questions aimed specifically at applying DPS classes.

What is your average DPS in a raid? (WWS logs to back this up is very much appreciated)

Sadly I don't have any WWS logs, but in a raid, I can normally push around 1.1k - 1.5k dps on boss fights, of couse this depends on the fight, a fight like Terron Gorefeind I can get around 1.5k, where as Shade of Akma, where you are moving around a bit, its normally around 1.1k mark, and around 900 - 1000 dps on trash.

What other than DPS can your class bring to a raid?

I bring crowd control is the form of traps. Misdirections for the tanks, allowing them to have a bigger start on threat from the pull. I also bring a 3% dmg increase for party members, Ferocious Inspiration is almost always up since my pet has more than enough crit. I also bring the aspect of kiting to raids, I have alot of experiance kiting mobs pre tbc, and in tbc. Pre TBC, I used a friends night elf hunter to do his epic hunter quest. I really enjoyed completing the long kite through Winterspring!

What do you do to maximize your damage during a raid?

I do alot of research into my class, I use the right macros first of all to give me maximum dps output. I always come prepared to raids with the correct pots and flasks ect. Superior Mana Oil, Super Mana Potions, Super Healing Potions and Grilled Mudfish are the normal buffs I carry around. Aswell as the the Major Agility pots and Flasks of Relentless Assault.

What experience of damage dealing do you have in TBC and Pre-TBC instances?

I have had full experiance pre TBC as a combat rogue, clearing all raids from ZG, all the way up to Naxxaramas. In TBC, I played an Enchancement shaman which I had full DPS experiance up to Ildian in Black Temple and Achimond in Hyjal. Although, the ROS fight still gets on my friggin nerves, something about that fight makes me cringe.

Tell us a little something about yourself.

Well, My name is Tom, I am from Derbyshire in England, I support my local football team, which is saddly Derby County, yes yes i know.... I am currently studying a 3D modeling and media course at college. I have a part time job working in Nottingham's main hospital sorting files and sending them around the building. Can get very dull at times scratch . I should probably mention that i am actually American, no accent though! I enjoy watching every American sitcom under the sun, Everybody Loves Raymond, 2 and a Half Men, King of Queens, all my favorites! My claim to fame is that I have met Miley Cyrus! Lawl. Twisted Evil

Anyway, I would like to finish up by thanking you for reading my application, I hope I didn't bore you too much. And I look forward to hearing back from you!!

You seem like a nice guy who knows what he's doing, you're in for a trial. Whisper an officer for an invite Smile

"Fist" can be a verb.
